The LA / Hollywood Collection: Taylor Makohoniuk - Set 1

Here's the first set of portraits from my shoot with Taylor Makohoniuk. 


During my time working in Los Angeles, I had the fortunate opportunity to meet this talented musician at a Barnes & Noble at the Grove. With his surfer sense of style and his hair, he caught my attention, so I approached him about doing a photo shoot and a few days later he was in front of the 6:12 lens on the picturesque Venice Beach. 

You may recognize Taylor and his incredible voice from American Idol Season 12 when he made it to the group rounds at Hollywood Week. You'll be seeing more of Taylor soon, because he's working on some big things for his music in the months ahead. This is one guy you want to keep an eye on, and one artist you need to add to your playlists.

Actor/Model/Singer: Derek Yates

Here's a look at my recent shoot with Derek Yates, who is an actor, model and singer in the Chattanooga area. Locally, Derek has walked the runway for the 1st Annual Chattanooga Fashion Week and the Pink Bridal Show. He's been in a promotional shoot for the Waterhouse Pavillion, in a billboard shoot for Marco's Bistro, and a Black Friday model for Abercrombie & Fitch. He has also had the opportunity to do photo shoots in Murfreesboro and Atlanta, and his upcoming shoots include bookings in Tampa Bay, New York City, Nashville, and Knoxville.

It's obvious from his piercing eyes and his handsome physique that Derek has a strong future ahead in the modeling world. I'm looking forward to working with him again soon.
