   Halloween is just days away, and you know what that means! 6:12 Photography has teamed with the talented and award-winning makeup artist, Missy Young to bring you another "bloody good" Halloween photo shoot. This year, we took our inspiration from classic horror films and the hit TV series "American Horror Story."
   Michael Y. with 6:12 Model Management decided to "take a stab" at our creative ideas for the shoot. It turned into a mix of scary, sexy and bloody.

Model, Josh Tyler - Set 1

Here's the first set of edits from my shoot with scruffy model, Josh Tyler in the historic alleys of MainStrasse Village in Covington, Kentucky. Josh is a natural in front of the camera; his talent was obvious from the moment we started shooting. His facial hair and his scruffy body give his look a sexy edge, and his hair and how he styled it was nothing shy of perfection. Whether he's wearing only a sweater and his underwear or a full layered winter outfit, Josh knew how to deliver a strong shot that was both editorial for it's high fashion look and sexy because of his expression and knowing how to work his angles.

On top of all this, Josh was willing to tough it out in some very cold weather with temperatures around 30*F, and he still managed to deliver strong shots, pose after pose.

This is one guy that you'll want to keep your eye on --- he's definitely got big things ahead in his modeling career.

The NYC Collection: James Van Nostrand with Silver Model Management - Set 1

   Here's the first set of portraits from my shoot in New York City with James Van Nostrand, on the busy streets of Manhattan and at a public park near the Brooklyn Bridge.

   When James arrived at the shoot, the first thing I noticed was those amazing blue eyes. I had seen several shots from his portfolio, but nothing prepares you for how stunning his eyes are. But it doesn't stop with the eyes. James has an incredible physique, and a personality and charisma that really makes him a blast to work with. We were able to connect early on in the shoot and share a vision for each shot that we wanted to create; his ability to take direction well and his drive to give 110% for each shot made for a pretty perfect photo shoot. It seems pretty evident that James and those baby blue eyes are about to take the world by storm!

   James is signed with Silver Model Management, an elite model management company featuring athletic, lifestyle and commercial models. Silver Models is also currently the leading fitness model agency in the country, and it was a huge opportunity for 6:12 to work with some of their talent for a second series of shoots!
