Year in Review: Top 25 Photo Shoots of 2014

2014 has been an incredible year for 6:12 Photography and photographer, Eric McKinney. After an unexpected career twist in January, I was faced with one of those situations in which "one door closes and a window opens" and I was given the chance to pursue photography full-time. In the months that followed, I found myself blessed with one opportunity after another to further my photography career, expand my portfolio and travel around the country to work with some top modeling agencies and so many amazing models. As summer arrived, 6:12 Photography found itself working with some of the country's leading fitness models and providing cover photos for national romance authors.

The LA / Hollywood Collection: Schyler Regalia - Preview

   Here's a first look from my shoot with actor/model, Schyler Regalia on the colorful streets of West Hollywood, California.

   Born and raised in Virginia, Schy developed a strong passion for acting and modeling when he was a teenager. When he turned 20, he moved to LA to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. So far, he's done a lot of background work and some photo shoots, and he's currently seeking professional training for acting while he submits himself to agencies.

   Schyler was a blast to work with, eager to take direction and make some strong shots. With that kind of dedication, I'm sure that his dreams will soon be within reach.

The NYC Collection: James Van Nostrand with Silver Model Management - Set 2

   Here's the second set of portraits from my shoot in New York City with James Van Nostrand, on the busy streets of Manhattan and at a public park near the Brooklyn Bridge.

   James is signed with Silver Model Management, an elite model management company featuring athletic, lifestyle and commercial models. Silver Models is also currently the leading fitness model agency in the country, and it was a huge opportunity for 6:12 to work with some of their talent for a second series of shoots!
