Maverick - Preview

   It's been a busy summer for photographer, Eric McKinney of 6:12 Photography, but there's always time to work in some local shoots in the beautiful nature spots that East Tennessee provides.
   I had the privilege of getting Maverick in front of the 6:12 lens, as one of his first photo shoots. Weighing in around 250 and standing at a towering height of 6'5", Mav is a badass in front of the camera with the personality of a giant teddybear. We finished up our photo shoot at the local rock quarry, where Mav immediately became the center of attention. After we wrapped on our shots in the lake, he took the time to pose for selfies and group shots with the women and kids who were crowding around to watch our shoot. Amazing guy, inside and out!

   While I was up in New York City shooting a couple shows for New York Fashion Week last week, I had the opportunity to reconnect with model/actor Dave Williams (BMG Models). We roamed the streets around Madison Square Garden and created some amazing new shots together.

Dustin McNeer / #FitFashion - Set 1

   In October, photographer Eric McKinney of 6:12 Photography had the opportunity to shoot with ANTM supermodel Dustin McNeer for the second time. We took the shoot to Asheville, North Carolina, picking out locations all over downtown.
   Dustin McNeer was one of the Top 14 finalists competing to become America's Next Top Model on Cycle 22. Only 18 years old during the competition, Dustin was described by the show's host supermodel Tyra Banks as being a "painted" model because of his perfect chiseled looks. Dustin has modeled for Calvin Klein and Hollister, and he has appeared in various publications including Vulcan Magazine.
   Dustin brings a sense of intensity to each shot during the photo shoot, and his knowledge and professionalism as a model really shows up as he is doing his thing in front of the 6:12 lens. He knows his angles and how to pose himself for each look, and he's so easy to work with because he takes direction very well.

Year in Review: The 2016 Highlights of 6:12 Photography

   Photographer Eric McKinney / 6:12 Photography kicked off 2016 by taking a #612roadtrip with makeup artist Missy Young from East Tennessee all the way to San Diego, California with a ton of stops in between. 

The #612roadtrip made it's first stop in Dallas, where a photo shoot with Sean H.
led to the cover of "A Storm Within" for author C. Tuttle.

The #612roadtrip continued in spring with a week in Cape Cod,
where a bowl of clam chowder was on the menu daily.

A shoot in NYC with Bill O. later became the cover of "Discover Love"
by award-winning bestselling author Maryann Jordan.

Bill O. became the new face of #Team612 and visited East Tennessee,
wearing the designs of Marc Nelson Denim.

6:12 shot photos at the wedding reception of this beautiful bride
and longtime friend, Katherine Thompson Dibb.

Summer heated up with #612model Tanner B. wearing his CHULO's.

6:12 Photography continued the #612roadtrip with a trip to
Upstate New York to see the fall leaves

#612photog spent a week in Provincetown on Cape Cod,
and the Salvador brothers (Jon & Lucas) made their debut together. 

   One of 6:12's original exclusive models, Andrew H. stepped back in front of the
6:12 lens for a #fitfashion photo shoot this fall. 

#ANTM Cycle 22's Dustin McNeer returned to 6:12 for Round #3,
wearing an exclusive collection by Charles Josef Swimwear.

A sexy photo shoot with #TeamWERK's Nick P. led to the cover of
"Suppressed Chaos" by author C. Tuttle.

Friend and model, Ryan N. made his debut on the cover of a sports romance novel
after a baseball themed photo shoot with 6:12 Photography.

A summer photo shoot in NYC with #fitnessmodel Gabe S. went on to become the cover of
"Coming Home" by award-winning bestselling author Maryann Jordan.

   As the year drew to a close, 6:12 Photography added one last leg to the year's #612roadtrip taking #612photog and #612Models Dillan and Carter to warm and sunny Cocoa Beach, Florida.

6:12 Photography teamed up with The Mertailor for another #mermaid inspired photo shoot.

And to make the year complete... #612photog finally spotted the elusive American alligator in Cape Canaveral.
