New York Fashion Week / September 2017

Photographer Eric McKinney / 6:12 Photography had the opportunity to shoot runway photos of New York Fashion Week (#NYFW) in September 2017. 6:12 Photography was one of the official photographers for designer Charles Josef's NYFW show at the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City, featuring his latest collection of bridal looks and swimwear.

   This week, I had the opportunity to be part of a segment on CW62's Studio 62.
   Studio 62's host, Jamarcus Gaston interviewed Asheville designer, Charles Josef about showing his Bridal & Swimwear Collections on the runway of New York Fashion Week back in February. Photographer Eric McKinney / 6:12 Photography and #Team612's models Madison, Brant, Mallory and Samantha joined Charles for the interview.

#Editorial / Charles Josef Bridal

   Shortly after WERK the RUNWAY: Cycle 4, the co-hosts of #TeamWERK, photographer Eric McKinney / 6:12 Photography and makeup artist Missy Young collaborated with Asheville bridal designer, Charles Josef on an editorial photo shoot. #TeamWERK models, Madison and Samantha looked gorgeous in Charles Josef's latest bridal looks.
   Charles Josef began to sew and design as a small child with his grandmother, a sample seamstress in the New York Garment District, as his teacher. This childhood interest turned into a lifelong passion and a true calling which shows in every garment that he designs. Charles has designed for men, women and children in every category from underwear to evening wear, using his experience in classical tailoring as a guide for each garment. His specialty is finely made luxury evening and bridal attire, and he also offers a full range of custom design services.

The Charles Josef Bridal Collection: Spring/Summer 2016

   6:12 Photography and makeup artist Missy Young took a trip to the beautiful mountains of Asheville, North Carolina to work with the talented designer, Charles Josef.

   Our models included Madison Deering and Kelsea Lawson with 6:12 Model Management, providing themselves as a canvas for displaying Charles Josef's latest designs.

   Using inspiration from the colors of the fabrics and the colors in nature around us, MUA Missy Young was able to transform our models with her bright colors, enhancing their natural beauty and making them match perfectly for each design. 

   Charles Josef Bridal has featured his looks in our runway event since Cycle 1, and he'll be back on the runway for Cycle 4 on Saturday, August 27.
