High Fashion Makeup Artistry & Hairstyling Shoot with Stylist, Mackenzie Lane Knisley

Here's a look at the best portraits from my shoot in downtown Nashville with MUA/Hairstylist, Mackenzie Lane Knisley. In addition to some creative outfit styling, Mackenzie added her special touch by providing the hairstyling and makeup artistry for models, Hannah Grace and Abrianna.

Thomas Buckner, Hair & Makeup Stylist - Set 2

A local of Knoxville, Thomas Buckner attends the Douglas J. Aveda Institute for hair in downtown Knoxville. Since an early age, Thomas has always had an interest in playing with everyone's hair and makeup. "Instead of looking at someone's eyes or teeth, I'm the person that looks at their hair first," says Thomas Buckner. "So that was a sure sign that I should get in the hair and makeup industry," he adds.
Thomas will graduate from the institute in late October, and his goals include becoming a traveling educator and, ultimately, to do platform and editorial work across the world.
Thomas contacted me in need of a photographer to shoot his Beacon photos, to enter into a competition. For this shoot, he envisioned a very high fashion look and he feels that he achieved that look.
Take a look at some of the photos from our shoot, with models Leslie Hobbs and Haley Huelsman...
